The road distance and driving time were measured on Google Maps between the two centre points, in November 2026, with the time rounded to the nearest 5 minutes. The main roads and the other distances on this page come from OpenStreetMap routing (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Traffic, roadworks, weather and your exact pickup and delivery addresses change the driving time, and loading and unloading add to it, so your estimated delivery is confirmed when you book. Your price uses the road distance between your actual pickup and delivery addresses; see regional pricing.

Geelong to Ararat express freight, never line-haul

Every Geelong to Ararat job is a dedicated door-to-door express run. The driver who collects your freight in Geelong takes it straight to the delivery address in Ararat: it never goes onto a line-haul truck, through a depot or cross-dock, or onto a backload with other freight, so it is loaded once and unloaded once.

Interstate is express too: interstate express to Sydney, Adelaide and Canberra carries only your freight and is never backloaded.
