What we don't do
No personal or household deliveries — business freight only.
Keeping our scope tight is how we deliver every job reliably. Drop-X does not handle:
- Household moves & furniture removals
- Residential addresses are accepted for business-related freight only. Personal deliveries are not available.
- Airfreight or seafreight forwarding. Interstate services are road freight only.
- Perishables needing refrigerated trucks. We don’t run temperature-controlled vehicles.
- Narrow time-slot bookings
- Click & collect pickups from retail shops
- Shared backloading or unquoted linehaul. Regional deliveries are completed as a dedicated express service. Interstate freight is available as a separately quoted service.

Frequently asked questions
How fast can materials get from the supplier to site?
Timing depends on the addresses, materials, road conditions and available vehicle. Tell dispatch the requested timing and it will be assessed and confirmed for the booking.
Can you carry long lengths like pipe and timber?
Yes. Utes and one-tonne trays carry lengths up to 2400mm as standard freight. For longer sections, call dispatch and we confirm the right vehicle before booking.
Can you deliver to sites without a forklift?
Yes. Tail-lift vehicles with pallet jacks handle palletised orders on sites with no unloading equipment. For loose materials, the driver offloads to the designated site area.
Do you do multi-site runs from one supplier?
Multi-site business runs can be assessed as one booking, with route timing and capacity confirmed by dispatch and delivery confirmation for completed drops.
Do you deliver to regional job sites?
Yes. Same-day runs to sites around Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and across regional Victoria, with transparent per-kilometre pricing — the item rate plus $1.85 per km of road distance (beyond 100 km, extra kilometres at $2.30), inc GST.
Can suppliers set up a trade account?
Yes. Suppliers running 5+ deliveries a day or regular weekly volume qualify for freight accounts — invoice terms, consolidated monthly billing, priority dispatch and volume pricing.
