The distances from the Melbourne GPO to the towns and localities listed further down were also measured on Google Maps. The main roads and the other distances on this page come from OpenStreetMap routing (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Traffic, roadworks, weather and your exact pickup and delivery addresses change the driving time, and loading and unloading add to it, so your estimated delivery is confirmed when you book. Ararat to Melbourne express freight, never line-haul
Every Ararat to Melbourne job is a dedicated door-to-door express run. The driver who collects your freight in Ararat takes it straight to the delivery address in Melbourne: it never goes onto a line-haul truck, through a depot or cross-dock, or onto a backload with other freight, so it is loaded once and unloaded once.
