Night-shift operations in Truganina, Derrimut, Dandenong South and Epping, and regional distribution centres around Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepparton, can book emergency runs at any hour, not just during the day shift. Dispatch confirms the vehicle and estimated timing before you book; jobs booked from 5pm add the $110 after-hours fee.

Same-day warehouse transfer requests are assessed against addresses, freight and capacity. Dispatch confirms timing before booking. Standard pallets are $110 inc GST metro, with tail-lift vehicles and pallet jacks available for docks without a forklift.
We missed our carrier cut-off — can you deliver today?
Call 1300 973 038 with the dock addresses and freight details. Dispatch will confirm whether same-day road transport is feasible and provide estimated timing; same-day completion is not guaranteed.
Do you support 3PLs during peak periods?
Yes. 3PLs and fulfilment centres use Drop-X as overflow capacity during sales peaks and carrier disruptions. There are no contracts or minimums — book vehicles job by job at fixed published rates, or set up an account for volume pricing.
What pallet types and weights can you carry?
CHEP, Loscam, Euro and custom pallets up to 500kg each, with oversized pallets up to 2400mm long. Max 4 Euro or 2 standard pallets per vehicle — for larger consignments we dispatch multiple vehicles or a pantech.
Can you deliver from our Melbourne DC to regional Victoria?
Yes. Same-day and next-day runs to Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and towns across regional Victoria with transparent per-kilometre pricing — the item rate plus $1.95 per km of road distance (beyond 100 km, extra kilometres at $2.50), inc GST. Urgent regional runs can be booked at any hour, with timing confirmed per booking.
Do you work outside business hours?
Yes — after-hours, overnight, weekend and public holiday transfers are available, which suits DCs that prefer moving stock when the dock is quiet. Dispatch answers every day of the year.
Can you deliver emergency forklift or conveyor parts overnight?
Yes. Dispatch answers 1300 973 038 24 hours a day, so forklift, conveyor and racking parts can be moved overnight to keep a DC running, subject to vehicle availability. Parts up to 500kg travel on tail-lift vehicles with pallet jacks. Dispatch confirms the estimated timing before you book. Jobs booked from 5pm add the $110 after-hours fee.
