What we do

B2B (business-to-business) transport for Melbourne & Victorian businesses.

What we don't do

No personal or household deliveries — business freight only.

Keeping our scope tight is how we deliver every job reliably. Drop-X does not handle:

  • Household moves, furniture removals & personal items
  • Residential addresses are accepted for business-related freight only. Personal deliveries are not available.
  • Airfreight or seafreight forwarding. Interstate services are road freight only.
  • Perishables needing refrigerated trucks. We don’t run temperature-controlled vehicles.
  • Narrow time-slot bookings
  • Click & collect pickups from retail shops
  • Shared backloading or unquoted linehaul. Regional deliveries are completed as a dedicated express service. Interstate freight is available as a separately quoted service.

How does Drop-X make courier pricing simple?

Drop-X shows the price upfront and takes bookings online, so you do not wait for a quote. Every delivery has different requirements; Drop-X handles the logistics behind the scenes and brings the simplicity of online shopping to courier bookings.

The traditional courier process

  1. Request a quote
  2. Answer questions about your delivery
    • Where is it going?
    • What are you sending?
    • How large is it?
    • When do you need it?
  3. Wait while the price is calculated
  4. Approve the quote and arrange the booking

The result

  • Waiting for a response
  • Unclear final pricing
  • Back-and-forth calls and emails

The Drop-X process

  1. Enter your delivery details
  2. Our system calculates the logistics
    • Pickup and delivery locations
    • Freight requirements
    • Service option
  3. Review the quoted price
  4. Book online and receive confirmation

The result

  • Price upfront
  • No waiting for quotes
  • Simple online checkout

Courier pricing can be complex behind the scenes, but booking your delivery shouldn’t be. Drop-X manages the logistics for you, providing clear upfront pricing and simple online booking in minutes.

Truck quote questions for Victoria

Can I request a 10-pallet tail-lift truck in Victoria?

Yes. Drop-X quotes truck jobs to or from Victoria separately. Regional truck requests are assessed individually; courier coverage does not confirm truck availability. Send both addresses, each pallet's packed dimensions and gross weight, and whether a dock, forklift or the tail lift is needed; ten pallet spaces are not a payload or tail-lift rating.

Do courier rates for Victoria apply to a 10-pallet truck?

No. Request a Drop-X truck-freight quote for the actual job in Victoria. Published courier item, single-pallet and per-kilometre rates are not a confirmed full-truck price. Route, freight fit, access, handling, waiting and extra stops are assessed separately. Truck timing is confirmed per quote. Courier cut-offs, same-day or next-day options and discounts do not automatically apply.

Can I request a car, ute or van in Victoria?

Yes. Drop-X books cars, utes and vans for business courier jobs and quotes 10-pallet tail-lift trucks separately. Send both addresses, packed dimensions, weight and loading details; dispatch confirms the vehicle, availability and timing.
