Do you pick up directly from wineries and cellar doors?
Yes. We collect from cellar doors, wineries, breweries and distilleries across the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Geelong, the Bellarine and regional Victoria, and deliver into Melbourne or onward the same day or next day depending on the run.
How is wine protected in transit?
Stock travels upright and secured on a dedicated, direct run — one pickup, one delivery, no depot cross-loading and nothing stacked on top. Flag fragile or high-value consignments at booking and the driver loads accordingly.
Can you do an urgent restock to a venue tonight?
Yes. Drop-X runs evenings, weekends and public holidays. Urgent restocks to bars, restaurants and bottle shops are collected within about an hour metro-wide; after 5pm a flat $110 after-hours surcharge applies on top of the standard rate.
Can you move full pallets of wine?
Yes. Pallets up to 500kg move on tail-lift vehicles with pallet jack handling at both ends, so a forklift isn't required at the venue or store. Multi-pallet loads are quoted on the run — call 1300 973 038.
Do you deliver samples for tastings and trade events?
Yes. Sample runs to buyers, media, wine shows and tastings are everyday jobs, including timed deliveries to venues and return freight for what comes back after the event.
Can we set up regular runs from our winery to Melbourne?
Yes. Producers and distributors with standing weekly or daily movements run them on a freight account — fixed pickup times, volume pricing, priority dispatch and consolidated monthly invoicing. Regional Victoria freight starts from $280 inc GST.
