Exhibitions run on venue schedules: a dock slot at 9:40pm, a stand build finishing at midnight, doors at 9am. Drop-X operates 24/7, so event freight moves when the venue says it can — overnight into South Wharf for an MCEC bump-in, a Sunday-night bump-out back to a Tullamarine warehouse, or a 6am drop of brochures before a conference opens in the CBD. One dispatcher coordinates the run against your window, one driver carries it, and the photo POD lands while your crew is still on site.
One stand or a whole show circuit
For a single trade show, we move the lot in one direct run — stand, graphics, merch and demo stock. For agencies and exhibitors on the circuit, multi-drop bookings stage freight across venues in sequence, and standing accounts cover the season with priority dispatch and consolidated invoicing. Fragile and high-value pieces travel as single consignments on a vehicle matched to the freight, from a car for a banner tube to a tail-lift pantech for a packed stand.

Do you deliver to MCEC and work in with dock schedules?
Yes. We deliver to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and venues across Victoria. Give us the dock details, your bump-in window and a site contact at booking — dispatch plans the run around the schedule and keeps your crew across the driver's ETA.
Can you deliver overnight so the stand is ready before doors open?
Yes. Drop-X runs 24/7 — overnight and early-morning venue drops are standard event work. After 5pm a flat $110 after-hours surcharge applies on top of the standard rate, with no separate weekend or public holiday loadings.
Something got left behind — can you get it to the venue mid-event?
Yes. Mid-show hot-shots are some of our most common event jobs: forgotten banners, extra merch, replacement AV. Pickup is typically within 60 minutes metro-wide and the driver delivers direct to your stand contact.
Can you handle the bump-out as well?
Yes. We collect from the venue when the show closes — including same-night pull-outs — and return freight to your warehouse, office or storage, with photo proof and signed dockets closing out the job.
How do you handle fragile display pieces and AV?
As dedicated single consignments: one pickup, one delivery, nothing stacked on top, on a vehicle sized to the freight. Flag fragile items and dimensions at booking and the driver loads and restrains accordingly.
Do you cover regional and interstate events?
