How to book
For an urgent job, call 1300 973 038. Email is suitable for non-urgent bookings, quotes and freight-account enquiries. Start with the pickup and delivery suburbs, then describe the freight and the service you need.
Prepare the job brief
List the item count, dimensions, approximate weight and freight type. Note whether it is a carton, pallet, document or awkward load. Add the contact name at each end and any collection or delivery instructions.
Packaging and labelling
Securely pack and label every item before collection. Keep loose components together and make the delivery details easy to identify. If the freight is fragile, oversized or unusual, say so when booking so dispatch can assess it.
Access and loading
Tell us about docks, forklifts, site sign-in, vehicle-height limits and any other access constraints at both ends. This helps match the job to the right vehicle and avoids avoidable delays on site.
Vehicle fit
Vans suit cartons and smaller parcels. Utes and trays can suit larger or awkward loads, while tail-lift capability may be requested for pallet freight. Dispatch confirms the appropriate vehicle after reviewing the job.
Service choices
Tell dispatch whether you need same-day, next-day or after-hours road transport. Melbourne metro, Geelong, Mornington Peninsula and regional Victoria are within the service area; availability is assessed against the specific job.
What we do not provide
Drop-X is for business-to-business road transport. We do not carry household moves or personal deliveries, and we do not provide air or sea forwarding, refrigerated transport, narrow time-slot bookings or retail click-and-collect pickups.

What details should I provide when booking freight?
Provide the pickup and delivery suburbs, the number of items, dimensions, approximate weight, freight type, and any access details such as a dock or forklift. Tell dispatch whether the job is same-day, next-day or after-hours.
Can Drop-X deliver to a residential address?
Residential addresses are accepted for business-related freight only. Personal deliveries and household moves are not available.
What freight does Drop-X not carry?
Drop-X does not provide household moves, personal deliveries, airfreight or seafreight forwarding, refrigerated transport, narrow time-slot bookings, or click-and-collect pickups from retail shops.
